Product Review :
I bought this bike mainly because of its low price and small size. It does fit into a rather small space in my home office, and it’s quiet and smooth. It took me about an hour and a half to put it together (I’m a 61-year-old woman)- a little challenging, but not impossible. I had to buy a gel seat for it, since the seat is pretty uncomfortable without it. My biggest complaint is the configuration of the handlebars. I’m not racing anywhere, but the handlebars are way out in front like a racing cycle. This means I either have to stretch out for it (hard on the arms and shoulders), or sit up very straight with my hands holding onto the back of the seat. I never realized what an issue this would be when I saw the product description. If you can get a similar cycle with “normal” handlebars, you will be much happier.

Product Review :
I’ve been looking for an exercise bike within my budget, and finding one with a small footprint was even better for my crowded apartment. It took me about an hour to put it together (handlebars, seat, peddles), some of the bolts are in tricky places and the tools they provide aren’t the best, but it got the job done. I wound up taking off the handles under the seat, because unless you’re skinny, they poke into your legs with each peddle downstroke.
Pros: very quiet, doesn’t take up much room at all, easy to move and yet sturdy, fairly comfortable up to at least a half hour of sitting, and adjustable seat height (four settings) is plenty high enough for me, something I was concerned about at 5′ 11″
Cons: recumbent handles are too close to the seat for comfort .
Peddle resistance could be stronger although it’s not so much an issue until I build up my leg strength, and it is fine for my needs (encouraging myself to exercise while watching TV, instead of sitting on the couch). There are 8 settings, 1 is no resistance at all, I usually have it set on 5 or 6, and bump it up to 8 towards the end of a half hour session.
All in all, a great little bike and you can’t beat the price.

Product Review :
I have had the Nautilus R514 for about 3 weeks now and it has been the best exercise machine that I have ever bought. The computer on it is easy to understand. You can go up to 16 levels as far as resistance is concerned. My husband and I have not really done a lot of aerobic exercise in a long while so we have our highest setting as level 4 right now, which doesn’t sound like much, but is. He weighs roughly 290 and I weigh 170. I am average height og 5’6″ and he is very tall.
He doesn’t have any problem with the seat settings. The seat is very easy to move to change between his and mine. The frame of the machine is very sturdy. It takes up a but of room as it is about 4 and a half to 5 feet long and needs about 3 feet of space widthwise. But we fit it into our living room alright.
I have gotten tired of buying low-priced machines that do not last long so I decided to spend some more money and buy something from a company with a good reputation. I always used Nautilus machines at the gym I used to go to and they were always excellent machines. As I make progress with this machine I will write an addon to this post later this year. I definately recommend this product. Also, it was shipped very quickly and that was even with free shipping, and was in pristine condition when I received it.

Product Review :
I shopped for several months and tried out lots of bikes including Golds Gym’s recumbent bikes.
I tried the R3 at Sam’s Club and knew it was perfect! I am a big guy at 292 pounds and over 6′ tall. I have had the bike for two months and with a low calorie diet have dropped 25 pounds so far!
I have had five right knee operations to date and my back was injured in a car accident two years ago which has greatly limited my exercise abililty. My doctor recommended a recumbent bike and I can ride this one for 45 minutes at 15 mph on the weight loss plus program.
Better than any of the more expensive bikes I tried at Gym X.
